Homeless Dis'ers set sail *sound* on some posts

Hello everyone, I am so mad:mad: I can't believe I slept thru Barbados. My absolute favorite island. Oh well we are actually at my 2nd favorite right now. Fond memories of our honeymoon, those were the days:D Just the 2 of us, no schedules, no kids, not nothing. (well maybe one thing) LOL So how is everyone?

I went to my very 1st DIS meet and had a lot of fun. Majestic who organized went all out and we had fun. Hope to do it again some day. Maybe a homeless dis meet in the future?

I met IASW rider at the meet and invited the ewp group to come join us. So please remember your manners;) I'll be at the Pitons this afternoon for some scenery and then I am heading over to the sulpher springs if anyone wants to come.

OK I'll come to the Sulpher springs with you, and the EWP group already paid us a visit, I went to their thread and told them we are going to invade WDW for a week or so starting next Monday, check back a couple of posts, I want to call CRO and let them know what hotel suites everyone wants... I'm headed for POR when we get there.

Wow, your ship sure does have a nice and sophisticated heliport! Just "flew in" to say "hello" and to thank you all for your "postcards"! We received them, over in the EWP Suite, and are eagerly awaiting your official arrival in Florida, so that we can celebrate your arrival! We'll send our private EWP Suite motorcoach to pick you all up at the port. It can take you directly to the Suite, to visit with us, or to your resort(s) of choice. It will be at your disposal, during your stay, so you won't even have to rely upon WDW transportation! Looking forward to seeing you all!

In the mean time..........wow, St. Lucia is just beautiful! I've never been here before! I will definitely have to plan a trip here, some time! :)

Well, I feel badly "dropping in" unannounced like this, so I'll hop back in my EWP Suite helicopter and head back to the Land of Magic!

Thanks so much again for being in touch and hope to see you all, soon! And hope that you're feeling better very soon, Castlegazer! :)

It is so lovely here today. I love different places to visit. No other reason to travel as far as I am concerned. I totally do not understand people who want everything like 'home' when they get out and about. I may not like everything but how do I know if I do not try?

Castlegazer, I hope you are feeling better now. Is sad but true in that we take care of others and then they pass on those nasty germs to us and disappear. (smile)

Momtoo, I was lucky enough to meet Rider for the first time recently (at the Poly, how perfect) even though I have known her for over three years. Great experience is it not? She is sorta like "Sarah Lee". LOL

Manners? Heck Disney people just naturally have them. LOL Parties? Anytime you get two DISers together you got one!!! Whoo Hoo!!

Slightly Goofy/Linda

(Oops - I'm sorry - I failed to mention that Linda was with me on the EWP Suite helicopter! See? That's what happens when you land on such a beautiful ship in such a breathtaking location - I was so overwhelmed that I didn't mention that I was not the only one on board! Sorry about that! :( And yes, it was a wonderful experience meeting Linda - our Suite's Fantastic Founder - at WDW, 3 weeks ago - our very first live EWP Suite Meet! :) And I'm sorry that I didn't mention my finding my way to your ship after meeting your wonderful Shipmate, Laura (and her adorable children), on Saturday (when she took one of your ship's launches to the NJ DIS Meet, for the day)!)

Good morning Dis'ers today our ship docks in the British Virgin Islands
The British Virgin Islands are indeed a special place. The climate is almost perfect. Because of their position within the trade wind belt, the islands have a balmy, subtropical climate. Temperatures average about 85 degrees Fahrenheit. At night the temperatures drop about ten degrees. Because of the difference in rainfall, soil and exposure, our islands have a wide variety of vegetation. There are lush areas where palms and tropical fruit trees thrive, as well as hills spotted with cactus, loblolly, frangipani and wild tamarind. In the valleys, there are brilliant tropical blooms, including hibiscus, bougainvillea and flamboyant. Along the seashores, it is not uncommon to see mangrove and sea grape trees sculpted by the wind.
Protection of the natural beauty of the BVI is a prime concern to residents as well as visitors. It's an effort that extends below below the surface of the sea as well

I think I'm headed over to Jost Van **** and hang out on the beach and the Soggy dollar bar

Ed, Can I come too. I need some hair of the dog to see if I can get rid of this nasty cold.

MOM - you know, we are having a Boston DIS meet too. Ed and Goofy4Tink will be there as will I. It sounds like fun and a lot of  from our spouses. I think you might have hooked us up with some real rabal rousers in that EWP Group. I am excited to go and party with them.

Sure, glad too see you back on your feet I think a little basking in the caribbean sunshine is just what the doctor ordered.

After we start the morning off right, nudge, nudge, we should head over to Virgin Gorda to The Baths.

The Baths is one of the most well known and popular landmarks to visit in the British Virgin Islands. Gigantic granite boulders and half submerged rocks line the southern seashore of Virgin Gorda, creating grottos, tunnels, and arches - a wonderful place to swim, snorkel, and explore. Sandy beaches are lined with coconut palms, adding to the dramatic effect.

A second beach called Devil's Bay is reached through a maze-like passage over and under the boulders, and through some of the shallower grottos. At some points along the path, ladders and ropes provide a way to travel over some of the steeper rocks. The sunlit tidal pools formed by the boulders are breathtakingly eerie and beautiful. There's no other place in the world quite like The Baths!

We can eat lunch at The Top of the Baths which is on a hill overlooking this vast area and includes a restaurant, bar, pool, and collection of shops - all with panoramic views of the BVI.

sorry, still feeling a little woozy so I forgot the pictures

Sounds like a plan... I just noticed I got edited, I guess I could'nt say we were going with Dick Van **** and he was in Mary Poppins!

Oh, man, I think I am a shrivelled prune from sitting in those grottos. How awesome was that!? Hey, um, not that I think of eating all the time or anything, well, maybe I do, but anyone have any thoughts on dinner options. What island and whatnot?

Oh, and I just wanted to let you all know that I made a rare appearance over here:

wanted to give everyone a map to follow along with as I find these islands a little confusing.

Yeah, well, wait till you hear it at the meet and you will know why - I can't keep as incognito as you, Ed. Yup - I saw that super cute picture.

That place doesn't look as lavish as we are used to nor as seedy as we like on good nights, hmmmm let's see if I can find another place.....

Oh, and by the way I have been looking for suzannen and Goofy4Tink and MOM all morning long I caught word that they were on a yacht off the coast of one of the islands but I can't quite make out if this is them:

Ok - for starters I have us set up with drinks and appetizers overlooking the bay and our ship.

From there we will be whisked away to take in a cricket game

Afterwards, we will tear up the night at this bar

JUST KIDDING! No, its up to our fine Captain to find a seedy enough night spot for us to let our hair down tonight. You know we have to get it out of our system before we arrive in WDW and have to be on our best behavior in front of guests.

Have you decied where you want to stay in WDW next week I'm going for the King suite at the poly.

And hey that does look like them see if they found ilovepcot yet?

Think I got your cold castlegazer!!! Oh man, this one is a doozy. But, I figured I would take my stuffed up head out on a nice boat and relax and what happens??? The papparazi show up!!! Man, you just can't get away with anything here can ya?? Ah well. I'm hoping for something nice on the 14th floor of the Contemporary. Maybe concierge.

Yup- it totally stinks. You should hear my voice today - sexxxxxyyyyy.

Anyways, as for where I will be staying at WDW - can't you hear the hammers from here? You know how there is that unfinished apartment up in Cindy's castle right?............ Anways, we'll see if this works out like my pirates costume in which case I will be bunking with you guys, but hopefully all is well with the Disney contractors.

Oh man, we have had computer problems in my office ALL day as we switch to new servers. It may last a few days so if I'm in and out (or missing in action).

So I really was off of that yacht that castlegazer showed. (Cute photo by the way!)

Count me in for whatever the masses decree...
