My response to that - Aye, Matey! Now where did I leave my eye patch and scabbard?

Well welcome aboard :scared1: . This is a great crew, well except for iloveepcot. We can't seem to keep her in view. But, my supply of duct tape is renewed. And mr. ed, I'm right behind ya. Looks like fun. Just let me find someplace safe to stash my mimosa's. Oh what the heck...I'll put it in a sippy cup!!:drinking:

Guys, I am going to go snorkeling - I have seen the island, and well, yeah, so I am going to see the real sites, the fishies.

Yo ho ho - A pirate's life for me! Ed, why don't you cruise over to the POTC official fan club thread and invite them over for Pirate night - make it Tuesday. Memorial Day may be slow too.

OK everyone, I am done looking at fishies. Off to the casino. Hey, what is everyone doing this weekend IRL? The official start of barbeque season for us here in the NE as prior to now - other than that fluk weather in April - we have been unable to be out on our decks after 5pm without layers upon layers of clothing.

We are off to York Beach at least for a portion of the weekend. We have a party at our house tomorrow so hopefully it doesn't rain.

I am having the ship's seamstress work on something like this for me - with the guy attached to the outfit - she said she needs some extra time but it can be done :bounce: :

Hey everyone:wave: You guys are certainly busy. Ah Aruba, my favorite island. Didi I ever tell you guys I speak fluent Papiemento? Well I really don;t but this is a fantasy right? Well speaking of fantasy , I've just had my last fitting for the costume and darn it wouldn't you know its still too big. The seamstress will have to take it in again. What do you think?

IRL we have the beach, and barbeque planned and will finish up with plants. Everyone have a great weekend and stay dry!

:scared1:

uh, oh - I think ilovepcot must be back on board!

Tuesday sounds great for the pirate party. I'll be wearing some of "me best treasures....grhhh."

IRL, having all the in-laws over for a barbecue. Hope it's warm enough with no rain.

 MOM and :scared1:, otherwise known as Karen!

MOM - you're gonna look great! Too bad no one will be looking at you as they will be looking at me and my extension to my costume!

MOM - Splish splash! I know what you mean....sometimes you just can't find a costume small enough and then there's those silly seamstresses who just can't get it taken up enough. So difficult being a size 2!

IRL, we are going to my mom and dad's to do some major housecleaning/yard work. My grandparents 50th anniversary is next Saturday at their house....so, we have to have everything looking top-notch. Should be a really 'fun' time! ;)

Nice seashells! Lime Green I noticed.

IRL I just got my Fathers day present (a little early) I got a new hammock(all this talk on this thread I had to buy one) ordered it online at hammocks.com a Mayan one, hunter green, oh and today is my real anniversary 10 yrs ago today, we got married and the Wilderness Lodge opened.

Ok everyone we've got the ship ready to go for our sail into Grenada (IRL my wife and I spent 5 days on this island at La Source which is an all-inclusive spa heaven) one of the spice islands and prepped up for the Pirate Party...Arggh evast there me maties!

Ahoy there me harties! (I am adept at speaking Captain Featherswordese).

Ooh, tell us more about the spa resort Ed - was it Adults only? IF anyone has any great vacations they want to share and tell us about, I would love to hear about them - I am in the hunt for a good one for October.

OK, its a race against time to get my costume ready for tonight.

Was this weekend great for everyone?! We lengthened it in feeling at least by spending Saturday at home and with some friends for dinner then spent the next two days up in Maine. It was cold but sunny at least and yesterday we actually were able to sit on the beach with sweat pants on.

Well blow me down...I've got to stop saying that! (Capt.Feathersword)

I dont think it was Adults only but I dont remember seeing to many kids*warning* the beaches are topless and There was a clothing optinional section also :earseek: but the resort was wonderful and the people on the island couldnt be nicer not pushy at all when selling there stuff very polite. I found the same true when we stayed at Pineapple Beach club in Antigua also an all inclusive. The Sandles Resorts are very nice and there is one on Antigua if you're looking for Adults only and if you are be careful of Hedonism in Jamacia in unless your into, how can i put this nicely...sharing your spouse.

phewwwwwwwwwwww - (blowing you down):teleport: I love him! :hyper: He was awesome - and I mean awesome from an adult perspective in the live concert. He mimicked Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, and many more icons doing the Quack dance. It was really cool believe it or not.

I have certainly herd of and know about Hedonism through scandals with the politicians I used to work with. There is one MA politician who frequents the resort twice a year still to this day. That thought alone, given that he is in his late sixties, keeps me far away from there. Its always people like that that go and not the people they like to show in the brochures. Same goes for the beaches in St. Martin - its not the gorgeous men who choose to go without bathing suits - its the really skeezy ones.

I was actually asking because I am not ready to leave child behind for a seven day vacation. Working full time and then taking a vacation sans child is not a vacation to me.

OK - so how are preparations going for the party tonight? Where's MOM with the coffee - I need it after this long weekend in Aruba, phew, those parties were unbelievable!
