Home School Days 2011 and 2012

Hello All,
I was just curious if anyone knows of ANY information regarding Disney World's Home School Days? I have tried to look for info but it is quite limited on the WWW This will be my 1st yr homeschooling my 2 kids DS-3rd grade and DD-1st grade. Both have previously gone to private school but we are just not able to afford it for both this year so I'm hoping to try my hands at it successfully "hopefully" for 2011-2012 and would to be able to put Disney's Homeschool Days into the curriculum and get our 1st Family Disney Trip at great rates!!! I know this year it's October 3. If you homeschool you should def. ck out the discounted rates!!! But as far as when the 2012 will be is unclear to me. Moving to the Disney for Families Board.

Hi! I am a first year homeschooler as well for my DD-6th grade, and we are participating this year for HS days (plus 3 of the Y.E.S. classes).

From all my research and reading on this Board, it looks like HS Days were traditionally much earlier in the year and this is the first for it being in October. Maybe if that is the case, the powers that be are going to look at attendance, etc. to see if they will switch it back to earlier, or keep it for October. Personally, I like October, so I hope it works out that next year's will be the same time.

Just keep an eye on the Disney Youth Education web page, and here on this board, because this place has information before the web page does oftentimes. I had been checking the web page all the time to register and it was here when I finally read that they had been opened up. lol This place is like Twitter, news (and rumors) faster than a speeding bullet.

We just signed up for Home School Days at Disney!! Excited!! We are taking the class on October 3 and I signed the girls up for the art class at DHS.
