DW called me at work and asked me to come home for a few hours to help out.
We have not used our fireplace in a few years but I have also not cleaned out the ashes from the last few fires.
Enter my three year old who opened the glass doors and screen and proceeded to fling the ashes all over the living room!
She was assisted by my five year old daughter who decided to join in the fun and kept it quiet.
When DW came from the back of the house to check on them the damage had been done. She could taste the soot when she approached.
She was washing the first few layers out of their hair when I got home and I began cleaning the walls, entertainment center, all the furniture and the carpet.
So who wants to feel lucky and shakes hands with me?
