Yes we're back and not long been home, just been clearing out my inbox (holy spam batman!) Trippie will be forthcoming, just as soon as i've tackled our truly huge mountain of laundry! :confused2 Just to be going on with, here are our highs and lows:

Highs
-Staying onsite, we drove pretty much everywhere but the convenience of being so close to all the parks was great.
-POFQ, really pretty resort with friendly staff and we loved the small size. Not sure we'd return again anytime soon as we want to try other resorts but i'd certainly recommend it.
-Free dining/DDP, we must have saved a fortune and we managed to use all our credits!
-Boma. I'll elaborate in my trippie but i'll just say now that Chef TJ is a living legend!! Easily the best dining experience of the trip.
-Coral Reef, fabulous!
-Wishes cruise, a great way to see the fireworks and I hope the families we shared it with enjoyed it as much as we did.
-Driving in the US, I took it really quickly and I can't wait to do it again. Might sound strange but I wish we'd had more long journeys!
-Kennedy Space Center. Blew us both away and we'll definitely return next time as a day just wasn't long enough.

Lows
-Universal Studios, doubt we'll be returning. May do IOA again but US is distinctly lacking in far too many ways in my opinion.
-Turbulence on the way back, i'm a good flyer but even I was a bit apprehensive.
-Jiko, quite disappointing.
-Olive Garden, same.

I'm itching to plan our next holiday, California in 2008. Hoping to return to Florida in 2009 if all is OK financially so i'd best get saving!

Welcome home Lizzy, it sounds like you've had a great time and I can't wait to read your trippie

yes the best cure for the return-to-home blues is planning that next trip, no matter how many years in the future :thumbsup2

i can't wait to read your trip report....it sounds like we have very similar views (we're also not fans of US)..
i'm hoping to do a wishes cruise on our next trip and i agree, kennedy is amazing....it completely exceeded our expectations and we didn't see even a quarter of what there was to see in an entire day there...

yes driving in the US is fun.....i wish we'd been able to do a long coast to coast road trip when the kids were younger, but DS couldn't sit for longer than an hour in the car due to his back brace (he barely survived the long airplane rides and that was in business class)..

anyway, why not take a break from all that laundry and write up a trip report for all of us who are living disney vicariously for a while...
