Home Based Scrapbook Parties?

So besides CTMH are there any other home based scrapbook parties out there? I know Stampin Up has some scrapbooking stuff in their catalog but I'm looking mainly for scrapbooking stuff.

SU goes either way they just don't show as many scrap pages in their book. They 2 do home parties and many reps have monthly groups. I know of 4 reps in my area 2 do pages and 2 do cards once a month.

The have stamps as well, but great scrapbook stuff even without stamps. Their papers are based on Level 1 (pre-done layouts, to some extent, with stickers and some matting to finish) and Level 2 (matching pattern and solid papers to do as you'd like).

Another vote for SU. I did Club for 2 years where you rotated houses and took turns being the hostess. You committed to a minimum purchase every month (dependant on the number of participants) and then did a layout every month. I learned a ton of techniques!! Do not let the "stamps" sway you - the reps really do know what they are doing to scrapbook.

For me, the first scrapweekend with my girlfriends (who were all using close to my heart) converted me.

Club Scrap also does in house parties which a full of great products.

A big vote for CTMH here. I'm not a consultant. I started out with CM years ago. Went to clubs for about 2-3 years thru my SU consultant, but we did all cards/projects, no scrapbook. I found a CTMH consultant thru a craft fair about 2 years ago and never looked back. I love it and my consultant is the BEST!!! I am in a "scrapbooks on the go" club, we meet once a month, hostess switchs every month and we make 10 pages a month. You can stamp if you want, but don't have to. I love having the option. Also love that their stamps are "see thru", which makes it much easier to stamp.

I love CTMH as well - I think their papers are nice to work with (and I love getting a paper and cardstock co-ordinating package - saves LOTS of time) and I too love the clear stamps - I tend to use them for swaps and cards rather than straight onto pages. but they are easy to use and easy to store - I can never get rubber stamps lined up properly and they take a lot of room

OP here.

I've had a couple Creative Memories parties in the past. Actually this is how I started scrapbooking.

I've had a few Close to my Heart parties in the past and I have to agree. I love their scrapbook stuff. I love how all the papers, cardstock, stickers all coordinate. LOVE THAT!!!

I was also a Stampin Up demonstrator for a couple years a while back. Once I became a demonstrator, I left my scrapbooking stuff on the back burner and didn't touch it for like 3 years. Unfortunately, I got rid of AAAALLLLLL my SU stuff and I SOOOOOOOOOOO regret it now. It got to the point that I wasn't enjoying making cards anymore (whether it was for my own use or for swaps or for home parties and stuff) and I really didn't use any of the stamps on my pages since I hadn't done them in so long. So I decided to sell all of my SU stuff and used the money to have some custom cabinets made for my kitchen.

Anyhow, I know of these 3 companies with scrapbook stuff that does home parties, but I'm wondering if there are any new ones that have come out recently? I'm thinking with how popular scrapbooking has become, that there would be more home party type companies. LOL

You should check out MemoryWorks.

They carry all of the regular brand-name scrapping supplies that scrapbook stores carry and they have a monthly kit club as well.

My BFF is a CM consultant and I have been hooked for the last 6 yrs. I have been doing a lot more digital books lately and they have a new line of Disney scrapbooking materials for both traditional and digital scrapbooking. It's awesome and I probably own most of the Disney materials. I LOVE it too!!
