Got home a few hours ago. Several hundred photos. Millions of memories. Full intentions of writing trip report soon and reviewing DLH MNSSHP all our meals ....the whole thing in fact

Also have hope that someone will be able to tell me what on earth were the creatures that we called 'the boing detectors'.

I am a bit worried now having read Marcus's comment, that we will never want to go elsewhere - our next two trips are to the Holiday Inn, and even if I cancelled one it still wouldn't pay for an upgrade to DLH!

I'm so glad you know what I mean. Alice was the only suggestion that come to mind for us. Weren't they the strangest things?

you've not told us about your trip after your next 2 though - could that possibly be DLH again I know you've told us we need to wait but we are so impatient you should know that

Can't say too much as little eyes sometimes read. But it will not be DLH, I'm afraid.

We did tell ourselves before we went that this was a 'once in a lifetime' trip, (although Dtr always adds "until I am grown up and rich and then I'll pay for you, Mum" )
That sort of made it more special and we tried to appreciate every moment....sigh...it was lovely.
