Cold everywhere this morning (well, 60 for i is not exactly cold)

Sleepover went well, the girls were tired from the swim meet and went to bed by ten!!!

No nap needed!

Snow comes home today.....

her dad is going hunting for three days and wanted to see her before he left.

Michigan is on the way to the North Pole........(from Texas, at least)
maybe that is why you are getting all the snow!

Maybe the ads today will spark DD's imagination for a christmas list that is longer than

I haven't ventured down to the mailbox to get the paper yet...
I will just pick it up when I go to church.

DD12 is playing an instrument with the choir in church today
the youth have been practicing some accompaniments...
today is their debut.....

DD12 plays the flute at school
but she hasn't told us "what" she is playing today (not flute)

We have a few inches of snow and the kids are itching to play in it
but it is so cold.......

not enjoyable snow weather
23 here

bundle up
play for ten minutes
trek snow in,
leave huge piles of sodden snowwear

make hot chocolate
drip everywhere
(both the snow and the hot chocolate)

then run off to play inside
leaving mom many messes.....
