Holy Week on the Fantasy

Hello-
Just checking to see if anyone has insight on religious events held on the Fantasy during the week before Easter...we've enjoyed Fr Emil celebrating Mass on Easter Sunday a couple of times. Now, due to spring break we are cruising the week before Easter. I've checked the blog with the Navigators...of course, not a one for the week before Easter 2015 or 2016. Thanks!

Looking to see if Mass is offered on Palm Sunday--our first sea day and maybe something on Thursday...

Thx. Hoping someone who cruised last year during the same week may recall...

You could call in and see if they do. Me and my girls participated in Midnight Mass this Christmas and it was beautiful. The theatre was packed.

I did some searching for this for my cruise. I only found evidence of services on Christmas, Easter, and random times when a Priest happened to be on board. Not Palm Sunday.

But hopefully someone who has cruised that week will come on and tell us first hand.

I can also say that they do reserve a nice room for guest-led interdenominational services, which is a nice way to reflect during your trip, but of course a Palm Sunday Mass would be preferable.

If they do have a Palm Sunday mass, I can't imagine they'd also have the palms available, unless it had been organized in conjunction with DCL. I wonder if you'd even be allowed to bring palms back, as they are a plant. They might be confiscated by customs. Not that the palms are the prime reason for going or anything, but they are part of the Palm Sunday tradition, usually.

Palm Sunday is going to be one of those "If there is a member of the clergy who volunteers to lead a service" days. There is no way to know if there will be until you check the Navigators on board.
