I got my email from Alaska Air about their "Spring into Summer" sale offering flights to many cities for as low as $59 each way.

Sure enough, checked the rate calander and in some months they are offering just that for flights from Seattle to Long Beach and/or LAX. :scared1:

MUST RESIST....we JUST got back!!!

However if you think about it....I have an annual pass, ds is under 3 so no ticket for him just yet, if I time it right we can check out HOJOs Ent rate...

I could seriously do this again....for cheap!!! ;)

If you can swing do it!!!! Seriously, I would! :)

at those prices you can get an AP, make several reservations an d go several times !! I live in a small town, prices are way high to fly out of here, because only 1 carrier. it stinks so we never get those deals. thats an awesome deal take it!!

Isn't that just an awesome deal?!! When I was on the Alaska Airlines website a few days ago, I saw that deal and I'm hoping they offer those great rates when we are going in Oct. I wish we had the $ to go on DS's birthday next week.....Oh well.

Do it do it!! That is super cheap! If they were that cheap out of pdx I would book at least one more trip. And we've already been three times in six months! :) Alaska is 79 from pdx so until it drops I am trying...trying to resist.

We just got $49 PDX-LGB, but had to do $118 back... but still it was screaming deal for the 3 of us. It was on Jetblue... I bet Alaska is trying to compete!

Yes, I bet that is the case also. There's been a dramatic decrease and the appearance of matched prices in Alaska Air's airfare ever since Jet Blue and Virgin Air started flying from Seatac to California last summer. Before we went to DLR last Dec. and we were looking to book flights, Virgin offered a really low fare. We have frequent flyer miles with AA, so I really didn't want to book through Virgin or Jet Blue. I mentioned to my family that it would be great if AA matched that low fare. Within hours.....It was matched so we got the same fare but got to rack up our FF miles by flying on Alaska. :)

I agree - the prices out of Seattle to Long Beach have been GREAT!

We flew for $59 each way already once this year. Another trip planned that we got $39 each way!

Oh... that just kills me... I wanna go!

We are celebrating our 20th on July 1st, and DH has arranged a nice 3-day trip to Vancouver BC-- we haven't been up there since before the kids were born. All the while I'm nodding and thinking, "I'd rather be in Disneyland, but I don't dare say it!"

That is awesome! I love flying in long beach. It's a smaller airport and much easier/faster to get in and out of.
