Holy crap I just booked!

Oh I stayed at Beach Club for 2 nights my last trip 2 weeks ago as a split stay. YOU WILL LOVE IT, its incredible and you will be hooked, BUT if you go offseason you can afford it.
Also, you mentioned a few posts ago, you booked club level there? If I can suggest it really isnt worth the extra money especially if you said your kids are eating free. If you change it to regular water view or standard view you will have your extra money for MNSSHP. Do the Halloween party, it's my next thing to try to do . Ive gone 100 plus times and can never get time off to do it but soon I will find a way! lol...
And without your brother and mom there, you will have an incredible time! I was a divorced mom of 2 boys and the three of us have had many happy memories there over their childhood. They are grown now but remember it well.
Have a great trip.....:goodvibes

I downgraded from the club level! It really was not worth it in the long run . I probaly would've only used it once anyways so Im saving my $$$.Beach Club sounds like heaven:cloud9: If I really do love it so much i HAVE to have it than I guess I will make only once a year trips than . Im doing POP for the first half LOL I can not imagine going from Beach Club to Pop. It's so much better to have the upgrade on the end of the trip . Im booking cape may cafe for dinner . I LOVE sea food and crab legs:yay::banana:

TO the PP who said something about being able to afford this when she is on food stamps, I re read the thread, and in this one never did I read that.
You don't have to post here. I know there have been controversial posts with OP but no need to be rude and provoke someone.
DISNEYMAMA- you will be going at the best time of year, warm yes but no crowds and no annoying cheerleaders competitions.SO many of those young ladies do not know how to act in public and can ruin any ride with their screaming and chanting, lol.....
So go, have fun, enjoy the quiet parks and IGNORE the rude people here, I swear, it never used to be like this! :lovestruc

You will love Cape May, I went for the first time 2 weeks ago and it was one of the best meals Ive had at Disney.
Also, spend a day at SABay and when Beaches and Cream opens? I think at 11, go eat there. Its a little burger and shake place at Beach Club and it's not WOW but it is very good and the kids would get a kick out of it.
It gets kind of busy at lunch and dinner but in Sept you should be ok.
Also you said you got tired walking around EPCOT, you will literally be 5-8 minutes from the entrance to World Showcase. So if you wanted to do a little of EPCOT you could. They have face masks the kids can decorate as they go around to each country and learn a little about each to keep them entertained.
Just some fun suggestions.

I wasn't being rude. I am honestly impressed and would love to know how she's able to afford it. I am always looking for tips on being more frugal. I would love to take more/better Disney vacations if I could find a way. :thumbsup2

Ok, sorry, I thought you were being rude. But I doubt someone's going to discuss their financial means......:confused3
I just really hope she has a great time and creates better memories this trip.

I dunno, I think it's a legitimate question, especially in such rough economic times. I didn't see where the OP said she got food stamps, but if she does, and she posted about it, then she has no business at a deluxe resort.
Personally, I bust my butt all year and make a decent living, but we've never stayed deluxe. If someone is taking public money then turning around and spending extravagantly, I'd want to know.
OP, if this isn't the case, please accept my apologies. I'm just making an observation, not being mean. :)

I agree people who are receiving government assistance in the the form of food stamps or welfare should live "high on the hog" on the dime of other hard working tax payers. Not saying this is what the OP is doing but, whatever.

I do however find it hilarious that the OP has gotten defensive over these kind of posts, claiming the only way she can afford to take all these future trips is by going budget and staying at value hotel, since when is BC a budget hotel?

She even posted yesterday morning that deluxe hotels were a waste of money....again whatever.

So who really is paying for all these vacations????? Thats what I want to know. Must be nice

"Wow....I do'nt think that's too healthy. I would never have a breakdown like that over a themepark. I spent 5 nights in Disney and that was plenty. I felt like I've seen/rode most of everything and was looking forward to coming home. I dont see how ppl can spend 10 days and more solely in the Disney parks. I would be bored but that's just me. If you love Disney that much why dont you take cheaper trips?? I see it like this...I can go once a year if i want to stay deluxe but i can go 3 times a year if i stay in a value. Honestly there is nothing wrong with the value resorts. I was more than comfortable and can not ever see myself spending the $$$ for a deluxe or moderate. So maybe if you cut a few things out, stay in a value you can maybe go to disney twice a year . I didnt get a real disney feeling where i felt like ' I LOVE this place" until we spent the night at Downtown Disney...the music..the water...the atmosphere just SCREAMED Disney ! I have a ticker but still havent booked! What am i waiting on? I have no clue! I'm still trying to figure out why I am so apprehensive about booking another trip!"

You know OP is going to come on here this morning and get all hysterical.....again. :headache:

But, I'm bored so....popcorn::

I'm not getting hysterical over a thing. I just find it funny that ppl complain no matter what i post. A positive thread quickly goes down the drain due to ppl who simply can't seem to mind thier business. My money is no one's business. How Im able to afford to stay in a Deluxe resort is no one's business. Im excited about my trip and about staying Deluxe .

I have to go to work (to help pay for the OP's trip:mad:), so I will miss all of the fun. :guilty:

This working thing isn't all it's cracked up to be. Maybe I should just stop working and start collecting all the government aid the OP is collecting, then I'd be able to visit WDW more often.

Here is yet another message from the OP that contradicts her other statements-

"Oh yeah and im also glad to know im not the only person that cant afford to go to Disney annually! I get a bit jealous when i see the siggies and some ppl who live far away from Disney are set to go like once every 3-4 months...Im like .....WOW ....I was even contemplating going again in October even though financially its very unrealistic...but i was gonna push it and go ...Now im back to my original plan which is another 5 night vacation in 2012 or 2013 ...I will definetly have to stay off the dis during that time!"

Inquiring minds want to know! What is the real truth? How do we get the hook up with free vacays?

It is if it is our tax dollars paying for it. I am not saying that is in fact your case but I remember some of your post from another board and if you are in fact the same disenymomma409 than yes I question where you are getting the funds from either that are you were giving false info on that board. Small world though !! I find it funny how just last week you were asking if you should go to Disney or pay bills and now you are staying at the Beach Club. Really if I had to ask that question I would not be going to Disney let alone staying at a deluxe.

It is nice. :goodvibes In my other post I was telling the OP if she misses and obsesses over Disney that bad than maybe she should stay at a value or heck even a budget offsite motel . I find it that many ppl who go once a year that are hardcore typically stay in the Deluxe and mods. She would be able to go more if she watched her pennies alot more. Am I rich? Heck no not by any means. But am I watching my pennies and am on a tight budget? Not at all. I am doing OK. I am only doing a split stay at a Deluxe . I would be crazy if I were spending the whole week at Beach Club :scared1: My next trip will be alot further away in May 2011 the land /sea package 3 day disney cruise /4 day POP or split stay 2 day POP 2 day POFQ

OH fyi please dig up a post where I mention that I am on foodstamps  Oh and fyi lots of ppl work AND get food stamps because they qualify.
