Holy cow, i went in to talk to my boss last night (Dominos); he was getting SLAMMED

I had to jump in and help him. The phone wouldn't stop ringing, we just couldn't get caught up. I was perplexed. Wednesday are just not that busy, what was going on? I went to the bathroom, and as I washed my hands, so my reflection in the mirror. Under my bangs, I realized my ashes were still there!

ASH WEDNESDAY! ARRRRGGGGHHHHH. The rush was not going to stop. it was not a flukey rush. All those good Catholics ordering pizza.

Now we just have to plan on the next 6 Fridays being super-busy!

Not only Lent for the next 6 weeks, but the NCAA basketball touney is only 2 weeks away. If there's a pizza delivery busy season, this could be it.

Funny, cuz Wed. is our usual pizza night.

We can't eat meat on Ash Wednesday or Friday's during Lent. Ash Wednesday starts Lent.

So that means cheese pizzas or veggie pizzas...much easier than trying to cook meatless, especially if you have kids that won't eat fish.

It's funny, I mentioned to DH the other day "No pizza on Fridays" because I know the pizza places will be slammed! He was raised Lutheran and didn't know what I was talking about. This happens every year, lol!

Fond memories of when I was a practicing Catholic (NDC now) and my dad would take us to Borelli's for onion pizzas on Fridays during Lent. YUM!

Guess you're not going to have Fridays off for a while!

I tried to get DH to go to Pizza Hut for lunch with me yesterday but he said I can't, I can't go to Pizza Hut and get a Veggie Lovers pizza when I know that the Meat Lovers is so much better.

On the flip side of that, when we do get pizza I get Veggie Lovers and he gets Meat Lovers but he manages to eat PLENTY of my pizza so its not like he doesn't like it. Silly man!
