Just booked my PS Fantasmic dinner package at Hollywood & Vines. Is the food good?
Do you think it is worth it?

We've done the package twice with H&V. We've really enjoyed the food - everything was fresh, the food was replaced regularly, I even noticed CMs going around checking the temperature of the foods to make sure they were in the right range.

We usually don't like "American" style buffets - with every day food. But the food here was excellent, and just different enough that everyone can find something they like.

Let me dig up my pictures...

the kids loved it .......the grandkids loved it......My mother in law loved it.......we love it......and did I leave anyone out......my son in law who is a vegetarian loved it.......so yah it is a good choice and I am sooooooo ready

We ate there in 2003 and the kids thought the food was just ok but me and DH thought it was a good choice for buffet meal. Prime rib was just like Cindy's I thought.

We are going to eat here in June this year and the kids said that was fine with them but wasn't their favorite {which is Si-Fi}.

I think most of the food is decent, some not so good, but I LOVE the rootbeer sweet potatoes.

I always say that H&V is perfect for a 4-yr-old's taste buds. DS loved it. I thought it was LOUD and the food below average, my least favorite buffet so far at WDW. It is relatively inexpensive for Disney though.

I really wish there were other FDP options! DH won't eat at MM - ordinary but expensive Italian doesn't interest him on vacation - and we love BD but our two kids were bored by the leisurely service.

We ate there last year and thought the food was pretty good - especially liked the corn casserole (?). My DD8 is a very picky eater and only picked out some bread and fruit. A manager was walking around the restaurant and noticed this. She asked what my daughter would like to eat and then proceeded to have the kitchen make it for her. I was very impressed after that!

is only a dinner buffet.......but we liked it and got in for five o clock next week...so we are happy

We did the Fantasmic Pkg there in January and thought it was just OK. It was definitely our least favorite buffet. It was VERY, VERY loud. The food was below average, but we did have an excellent waiter, though. We were not impressed with either the food or the atmosphere. In May I've got a PS for Mama Melrose's for the Fantasmic Pkg and am hoping for a more relaxing meal.

go fantasmic pkg and there are really no bad seats.......just easier to go in a little later then going in soooooooooo early and waiting on those seats for a few hours......it is a great show and you will be happy

The fantasmic package was a good idea..no waiting in line for 2 hours for good seats. As far as H&V...I have mixed reviews..I didn't like it at all..the food was not good to me and the service was not very good. My husband, on the other hand, LOVED it. We are going back this year just because of him. Have fun!!

Our family enjoys H&V. This is the first year we won't be going there only because we want to try Mama Melrose. My DD loves the kids selection of the buffet.
