Would you do Hollywood and vine or chef Mickey to meet Minnie?

Which is quieter? Has better food? Interactions?

Its hard to find quiet at disney. Lol. Never stayed long enough at H&V to know, but I do know that Chef M is NOT a quiet place to be. They do a parade, they wave napkins around (think Soca). Chef M is not quiet. Perhaps someone who has been to H&V can chime in? Food at Chef M is just meh. Nothing special. But the character interaction is great.

H&V is quieter and less chaotic.

So are most subway stations at 7:40AM when the Starbucks suddenly cannot take credit cards and the trains are late.

If you want a quieter Minnie meal with good food, I would recommend Cape May breakfast. If you aren't on the dining plan, you could also try the character breakfast at the Four Seasons (would need to take an uber/lyft/cab or Minnie Van there). I believe it's only held once a week, but it will be MUCH nicer than either CM or H&V. They don't take the DDP though. Honestly, I can't recommend CM or H&V. If I needed to choose less chaotic, it would be CM, but the food at both is really bad.

LOL!! Seriously, I've had quieter, less chaotic dining experiences in NYC's Grand Central Station than H&V!

Agreed - we really enjoy Cape May breakfast.

I just read a review on the four seasons - it sounds reakly nice.

The characters are like rock stars to young children so you won't get peace and quiet at any character meal.

That said, we have always enjoyed the atmosphere and food at Chef M's dinner. The food gets bad reviews, but the Parmesan mashed potatoes are delicious and the soup is usually very good. Thank your lucky stars if it happens to be Smoked Tomato Bisque on your evening to dine there. Yum!

I have not eaten at H&V, but I've seen it, and it is one unattractive place. I'm sure Minnie's clothes will be darling though. :)

We've had breakfast at both. If you only care about meeting Minnie, either one will be fine. They both have average food & ambiance. H&V is a bit more subdued & sophisticated, but CM's has a better overall array of characters.

Character interactions have been excellent at both places. The food was delicious at H&V, and okay at CM. It was quieter at H&V, but we tend to go to both places at opening before it gets too crowded.

I totally agree...Cape May is the quietest character breakfast around. Love the atmosphere, food, and characters.

BTW i just checked out Four Seasons. Beautiful place! But it comes at a price. $46/adult, $24/child 3-12. Its not cheap.

Pick your poison, You can have terrible food at Chef Mickeys or potential food poisoning at Hollywood and Vine(and according to the BBB, I'm one of many that have had this issue) That aside, I would probably do hollywood and vine as at least the food is edible if it doesn't kill you. The food at Chef Mickey's last trip was terrible and my wife will eat most things.

Girls prefer Hollywood and Vine because it has more girl characters. Guys tend to like Chef Mickeys better.

I have ate breakfast at Chef Mickey and lunch at Hollywood and Vine. I think both restaurants are pretty loud but I enjoyed the food at both locations.
