Hollywood & Vine timing (& another question)

We have an 805 ADR at Hollywood & Vine and would like to sign the kids up for Jedi Academy. We've never been to WDW as adults so we are trying to figure out our best plan. Will we likely have time to eat and then still make it to sign up for Jedi? There were no other H&V ADRs to switch to for our large group when I looked yesterday so that's not currently an option, although I understand that may change.

Also, on our MK 1/2 day, we won't arrive until around 3pm on a Sunday. We have FP for Peter Pan, Enchanted Tales and Tomorrowland. Does anything think there's a chance to still get a FP for A&E meet/greet and 7DMT (the FPs were full) while in the park?

Thanks for helping a Newbie.

Re the breakfast timing, you need at least an hour for a sit down meal and if it's a large group might need more. Depending upon what time rope drop is that day and the crowd level it's theoretically possible you would make the sign up but unlikely.

Re the MK FP's, very very very unlikely. I wouldn't waste the time in the park trying.

The sign up for Jedi Academy isn't very far from H&V, so it's possible you could make it in time. If necessary you and the kids could leave the table for a few minutes to sign up, but you may miss the character you wanted to see during the meal. As for the FP's if they are gone then it's not likely you will see them at all. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. The park opens at 9 and the crowd level is estimated to be a 6 when we are there and the wait for A&E at this very moment is 55 minutes so if it's close to that in a month, then we could swing it.

Last week, they allowed us to sign up for Jedi Academy prior to our 8:10 Hollywood and Vine reservation. My DH checked us in at H&V, and I took our DD over to sign up, which isn't too far from the restaurant. I would arrive a few minutes prior to your reservation and walk over to the Jedi Training sign-ups. It is the store near the Indiana Jones show. Even if you wait until after your meal to sign up, you will likely be ok. My DD did the 11:40 show. When we arrived at 11:10 (you have to be there 30 min. early), they were still signing kids up for shows later in the day.

A&E FPs, probably not. However, if you plan to be in the MK until closing, the line may be more manageable toward the end of the night.
