Hollywood & Vine character breakfast - tell me all about it

We watched a couple of youtube videos last night and it seems really loud while they are singing & dancing. Is that true or is it just the way the cameras were picking up noise? DD is sensitive to loud noises so if it's going to be really loud, I think we should skip it.

This wouldn't be our first character breakfast buffet, we've done Tusker House twice, so I know what to expect as far as food goes, but is there anything else we should know about it? Thanks!

Its loud...

It is a diner-like setting and every so often they turn on the music and the characters dance and get the kids up and do a conga line and dance. You dont need to participate you can sit and watch.

I think all the character meals are loud, this one isnt any different. However comparing with Tusker House since you have been there..this is much louder. TH at least has some separation of rooms and there is no music and dancing.

My DS -22 Months loved it. We took him at 14 months. It is based on Disney Junior characters so that worked for us. I didn't think it was loud.. or at least it wasn't loud enough for me to notice. Then again, ever since we had DS everything seems quiet compared to him

We were there for the Character Lunch today, and it didn't seem loud to me at all. I mean, it was loud when they were singing and dancing, but it was fun. It wasn't so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. We had a blast

I ate there for a late ( 10:10) breakfast on 9/23. I didn't find it that loud,, and out of that hour meal the songs were less than 5 minutes.

It was far and away the best interaction at a meal that we had. ( we also did 2 princess meals and chef mickeys.)

It really depends on what you find loud, I didn't think it was loud at all, I thought it was just right, The playhouse Disney kids do a great job and the girl that is with them is HOT.

I don't think it's over the top loud... but loud enough that it definitely highly annoys us! We're not morning people to begin with, and find the music very annoying! That said, we really enjoy this breakfast a lot food-wise, and my daughter, though 8, is a sucker for Oso. We go more for the food than the characters, and convenience of eating breakfast in the park.

But loud enough that it would bother a child sensitive to it... not so sure it's THAT loud. We just find it annoying, especially since it seems to happen quite often that they break out with the song and dancing more so than other character meals.
