Hi all we are thinking of eating at Hollywood & Vine for either breakfast or lunch, I hear it is not good does anyone know what characters are at these meals. or picture of the buffet thanks

Not sure about the characters, but the food was the worst we experienced in all of Disney. Yuck!

We ate lunch there, we thought it was pretty darm good! You get a LOT of character interaction!

I've had both breakfast and lunch there (on separate trips)...

I think we had much more fun at lunch ... the salmon was good ... and I didn't go away hungry (and I was pregnant that trip and VERY picky about food)...
The trip we did breakfast ... well, it was pretty standard breakfast buffet and we really just did it to get us into the park before it opened so we could get in line for Jedi Academy as soon as we were done with breakfast ...

So... THIS trip I'm planning LUNCH there because I have a big Oso & Handy Manny fan coming with me :-) They replaced JoJo & Goliath and I'm SO excited!

Been there for dinner in 2009, lunch in 2009, breakfast 2010. No characters at dinner so forget that.... Lunch was OK, not great, but good enough... The character interaction is the same at lunch and breakfast.

We prefer breakfast because... you can schedule it at 8am and get in the park 1 hour early (when the park opens at 9am)... breakfast food was pretty good... they have mickey waffles! And there are better places in HS to have lunch -- we like 50s Prime Time!

The characters dance with cast members and children to Disney Playhouse music AND they come around to tables for greets, photos, autographs, etc...

Here's a link to my review
... includes a video of characters.

We took my DGS (2 1/2) there for breakfast in February, and I would do it again. The buffet is pretty standard, but there was a lot and it was tasty. The character interaction was really good - periodically there was a little floor show, and the kids could participate if they chose to. Manny and Oso (DGS' favorites) came past the table at least twice.
