My family will be at Hollywood Studios on Tuesday December 24th. What time should we be at the park to be able to board Rise of the Resistance.

I don't think anyone knows but so far all of the boarding groups have been filled by 8 a.m. Since you are going at a much busier time, you may need to plan to be in the park much earlier.

I'm staying ANK what time do you think we should leave for the bus.

Find out what time the first bus leaves your resort and plan to be on it. You can consider taking a cab/Uber to get to the park even earlier.

Get a Lyft and try to get there by 5am.

OP, I was just reading thru some of the RoTR thread posts and see that others are recommending getting to the park by 5-6am.

Currently when the park "opens at 9", the park has been opening about 6:30 due to crowds and the BGs are filled before 8.
I would agree, about 5-5:30 at the latest seems about right given the crowds that time of year.
