Going in June 2016. My 14 year old daughter and I are huge fans of Once Upon A Time. Is Mr. Gold's store still there? Would love some photos...

it was there when we were there last. I do not believe it is part of the refurbishments....at least not yet

It was there in November..we always sit on that bench in front of Mr. Gold's Store to take in all the sites and sounds around us.

We just got back and it was still there It's way in the back of the park by the Lights Motors Stunt Show

Yes, saw it on Tuesday when we were at the Osborne Lights.

It's there but unknown for how long. That is the part of the area being removed and should close eventually.

I read they just added an Osbourne Lights Tribute window to Streets of America so I suspect that area isn't 'going anywhere' any time soon.

Mr Gold's Shop is really neat - if you stand with New York behind you and go to the end of the street it is the last shop on your left (basically it's near the umbrella). We have tons of pictures!

But wasn't the whole reason the lights are gone is the streets are eventually gone?
Same as to why Phineas and Ferb and Cars meet and greets are gone, no?

I am with you! I think Phineas and Ferb and Cars area is going to be used on in the construction zone. Theory on this website ( that posted about the Osborne tribute window) was that the Osborne Lights contract was over so they've been retired but in a year or 2 "magically" a version of the lights will reappear with a different name and a handy dessert party...

All in all that seems like a wasted area. Sure it's neat to walk in and look around but it's huge and does nothing really.
When you start to think about how large Star Wars and Pixar/Toy Story will be it's hard to imagine they'll leave such a large space idol

I agree! I think it will be interesting to see what DHS looks like in 5 - 10 years - no doubt it will all somehow make sense. One other theory being tossed around is that SW Land and Toy Story area will be just 2 expansions and that they (Disney) are in fact secretly planning a 3rd (as of yet unannounced one) that might take up Streets of America (but then that would of course kill the possible lights coming back in a new form theory). Personally I'd love it if they released a map and said "here is where we're going to put everything" but I don't think they will.
