So we are going for 8 nights in april 2016 and after reading about everything that is closing at HS it makes me wonder if it's even worth going to that park. We did like RnRc and Fantasmic and TSMM and LMA....the only other things I would add is the Indiana Jones and Great Movie ride....I seriously don't think this will take up a full day????? any suggestions? should we go later in the day so we can see Fantasmic. I am just afraid we will be doing a lot of "killing time" in between things that we like...any help would be great. We do not do ToT.....both have serious fear of being dropped.

Hard to say what else might get the axe between now and then. We had more than enough time to see everything we wanted, including one of Much, Sweat and Shears sets. We took an afternoon break at the resort and came back for Fantasmic.

Personally speaking even with everything open we only do Hollywood studios for half a day - either relax in the morning by the pool and go in the afternoon or go in the morning and go to downtown Disney or use a night extra magic hour at one of the other parks

We like to go in the morning to ensure we get RNRC at RD and do our FP+ in the AM. Then head back to the hotel for a swim. Then head back to Epcot or DHS for dinner and do Fantasmic. That way you also get the best of the weather. Even though it's nice in April, it can get humid, and if you are used to the cold, it may feel hot.

Do you have hoppers? If so, I'd split up DHS with a couple of parks; start a morning there then hop to Epcot, for example, or vice versa. If you don't have hoppers, do you want a "sleep in" day? Book your FP+ for later in the day and plan to see Fantasmic; do it after a late night in another park and you don't have to get up as early.

I hop, so I'm still going to DHS for TSM, multiple trips on Star Tours, and a few other things, but I know I won't spend a whole day.

No park hoppers but I like the idea of doing the FP+ later in the day after a late night in a park the day before. thanks for the suggestions

We're going next month and our plan is to arrive by 8:15 for a 9am open, ride TSMM, ride RNRC, ride TOT w/FP, TSMM with FP, Star Tours w/FP, Muppets, GMR, and BAB and Car show (not all in that order, obviously). We have a lunch ADR at Sci Fi, a good long swimming break at the YC, and then back for Fantasmic! and Frozen fireworks. That seems like a full day to me!

We did a whole day on Monday and we pretty much did everything there is, I think the only thing we missed was One's Man Dream. We had some down time for shopping and a table service but otherwise we kept pushing pretty much all day.
