Hello! I am trying to figure out which plan is best for HS - I've never been so I have no idea how long it takes to get from one area to another.. I would really appreciate any advice!

Sample plan 1 -

Arrive to park at rope drop - head straight to meet Buzz and Woody (get to them by 9am)

Voyage of the little mermaid show - 9:30

Spend time in Animation Courtyard from 10-11am

FP+ Toy Story Mania - 11am

** This is where I am getting confused**

We are planning to do the Fantasmic dining package with lunch at Mama Milrose - but we also want to see the Beauty and the Beast show and the Frozen sing along (Lord willing I get a FP+ for that)

We are planning a break in the afternoon and returning back for dinner and Fantasmic.

So - should we do our lunch at 11:30 after Toy Story (but also hoping to meet Mike & Sully before our reservation) and after lunch head to the 1pm Beauty and the Beast show then try for a 6pm FP+ for the Frozen sing along

OR

Should we see the Beauty and the Beast show at 11:45 and then make lunch reservations for 1pm and along the way meet Mike & Sully and still try for the 6pm Frozen sing along

OR

Should we see the Beauty and the Beast show at 11:45 and then make lunch reservations for 12:30pm and along the way meet Mike & Sully and try for the 1:40pm Frozen sing along.

Based on other peoples experiences, are any or all of these scenarios do-able? I should add we are going on a crowd level 4 day

Thank you for your help!!

Scratch off option 3. You won't make it to Mama Melrose for a 12:30 ADR and more than likely wouldn't make the Frozen Sing-Along either. Out of options 1 and 2, I like 2. You'll have enough time to make the reservation and then a good break between lunch and the sing-along. I would opt to meet Mike and Sulley after lunch though, on your way out of the park.

Everything will depend on when you can get your F! dining reservation. They usually schedule those into the less desirable times, to fill tables, so an 11:30 may not be available. So that eliminates your first scenario.

I think your 3rd option has things scheduled too close together, with no allowance for late seating at MMs (a frequent occurrence) or slow service.

Your 2nd option will allow for a much more relaxed day.

HS is so hard to plan! I am also planning a MM F! ADR for our trip in late August. I'm going to book a late lunch around 1:40. That way, I can fit more into our morning. I'll will plan a snack around 11 for so we all don't starve. We'll take a break after lunch and come back in the evening for Fantasmic.

Food for thought - Mike and Sully usually come out at 10 am so you might be able to get them in before TSM. Also in the Animation Courtyard area you can do the drawing class (it takes 30 minutes but is loads of fun).

I'm not sure when you're going but when we were there in January / February you didn't need a FP for Frozen it was easy to get into the show without one (and without arriving really early). It might work out well to grab a FP if you can but be aware of show times (or consult your times guide) in case you can fit it in easily somewhere.

Do you want to meet Phineas and Ferb? They are out near Lightning McQueen and Mater near the Frozen theater.

Thanks for your reply! I am not sure if meeting Mike & Sully before TSM would work - wouldn't that be too much zig zagging to go from Animation Courtyard to the back of Streets of America then to go all the way to Beauty and the Beast by 11:45, which really we should get there a little early right? We are going in early May. I just planned on FP+ for the sing along because I've heard it can get crazy and I like to for sure see it.

Thanks for the tips on Phineas and Ferb and Lightning McQueen!

Before you go do study a map - they layout of DHS can be confusing.

Mike and Sully aren't that far beyond TSM - I was thinking you could go from Animation Courtyard walk past TSM - see Mike and Sully and then walk back to TSM for your FP. They aren't on Streets of America but tucked behind a shop (can be easy to miss) that is opposite Studio Catering (restaurant/ CS) - we call it the one ton bricks shop
