I need help. We are going to Star Wars Weekend in Hollywood studios in the morning and then heading to Typhoon Lagoon. Is there a direct bus from the studios to Typhoon Lagoon or what is the easiest way to get there? I did remember seeing a Downtown Disney bus from the studios but it did not say Typhoon Lagoon also.

Hollywood Studios (or any theme park) to Typhoon Lagoon is always a two step process on Disney transport (requires a connection at a resort).

Two possibilities:

- Cab. Very short trip (2.4 miles), so it's going to be $10 or less. 3 minutes or so.

- Walk or boat to Boardwalk and take a bus to Typhoon Lagoon. About a 15-20 minute walk (or boat ride), followed by a 20-ish minute wait, followed by a 20-ish minute bus ride.

Me, I'd take the cab. :)

Bus to Pop or AoA (whichever comes first), then bus from there to DTD/TL.

Unfortunately, after about 11:30 a.m., buses to TL from all resorts make 2 stops at DTD first. Between the 2 bus rides + wait time, expect the trip to take around an hour.

AoA and Pop are good choices for changing buses. Just curious, though: why not Caribbean Beach? Looking at the map, it seems like another good option.

I'm still sticking with cab as the best choice. Saving an hour of travel for $10 is like gold. :)

CBR will work, too, but it has multiple stops, and the load zones are shared by all parks. The extra stops usually add only a few minutes, but IMHO they increase the possibility of delays. And they just make the ride feel longer.

Solid advice, as always. :)
