I must be missing something. When I look up the availability calendar, it is showing full availability for all 4 parks on every day for the foreseeable future. The only limited availability is July 11-14, in which case HS and EP aren't open yet?

Sorry, I must be misreading your OP. I thought you were trying to say that HS seems to be booking up faster than MK. But the only days I see that HS is not available are the days that HS is closed while MK is open?

it depends on your ticket type as well. For AP it's all gone for July

Right, I mentioned that "with the days with limited availability". I was referring to those opening 10 days or whatever. Sorry if I wasn't clear to you.

Ah, that makes more sense. I'm looking at availability for those who have a regular ticket, and availability is wide open on every day that all parks are open.

Yeah we're pretty screwed, I'm glad i was able to get 1 day at dhs when reservations opened for ap
8/29 is the one year anniversary of SWGE, I am crazy enough to buy a one day ticket if availability is still showing and obviously if they open ticket purchases by then
It would be great if closer to each day they would open the pool of available tickets from the other 2 categories and allow aps to book last minute, but I fear I might be expecting too much from the system

You still might. I imagine people will adjust their plans and reservations may become available the same was FP did

I hope so, with my work I have to play with that 3 day limit, as soon as I enter a park I'll go on the calendar and see whats available for the next week

DHS has the most new goodies, by far, with the recent opening of two popular new lands, an additional ride (Runaway Railway) and the incredible new E Ticket (reportedly -- I haven't had the pleasure of riding it) ROTR.

MK won't become top dog again until it debuts TRON lightcycle.

Yup. It kind of stinks. Its hard for me to plan any days so far out since I don't know my schedule til the week before.

I hope they'll be able to play around with some numbers and add availability to aps and take away from normal tickets if those aren't selling out

While the new attractions definitely impact DHS and I think the online community has pretty consistently been saying to book it first, could cause it to book faster than MK. The other part of this whole thing is that parks have limited hours and attractions. MK had a lot of parades and fireworks and other things that drew people in, beyond rides. With those being eliminated, there may be less of an overall draw for it. Epcot is in the same boat, many people liked to eat/drink around Epcot, with limited dining and less shows and entertainment in the World Showcase, is it really worth walking around all day (in a mask).

This is true of HS as well. I think it has the most shows (Indiana Jones, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen Sing Along, Little Mermaid, Muppets), and two nighttime spectators (Star Wars and F!).

I’m really hoping some of these are added back before my scheduled November trip. I think it would be fairly easy to social distance to see F! and RoL at AK. Unlike the fireworks shows that encourage people to smoosh together to get a good view, the stadium style seats should be no problem to stagger viewers, especially with reduced park capacity. The nighttime shows where everyone stands are more likely to remain somewhat of a free-for-all than places where you go to your designated seat and stay there.
