Ok...Disney friends....

Im struggling with where to start at HS. It will be me, wife, son (7), and son (4). The boys are thrill-seekers and the only ride the youngest isn't tall enough for is RR. That being said, it is still on our priority list.

We will have two days in HS. On our list to ride are Tower of Terror, Rockin Roller Coaster, Smugglers Run, Slinky Dog, Toy Story MM, and MMRR. Any help on where to go first each morning would be greatly appreciated. We are also rope droppers...

Day 1 - Slinky Dog, RR, Tower

Day 2 - Smugglers Run, and MMRR

Any suggestions?

One day, go to ToT and then RR first. The other day go to Slinky and then Smugglers Run. MMRR gets low waits later in the day.

I agree with @Kerr84. ToT gets busy quickly and stays busy. If you knock that out first you should be able to fit in RnR before it gets too long. MMRR might not even be too bad at that point if you're among the first in the park.

You also have to get to SSD pretty quickly if you want to ride first thing without a wait. Honestly for SDD, I think waiting until right before close works best, if you plan on closing the park. It's so much prettier at night, and the wait for that ride in particular seems to be highly inflated right before closing.

Another thing, though, regarding waiting until close to ride SDD. If you want to do this, I'd plan on it for your first HS day. It goes down a lot, and you don't want to save it for very last and risk not getting to ride it.

I would hit ToT first on at least one day. ToT lines are consistently one of the longest.

We did Tot, RnR, TSMM (granted we waited a little longer than lowest wait for TSMM which is midday, but the line constantly moves), and Star Tours in succession and felt it was a good plan.

MFSR and MMRR ride times go down during the day. My advice is to wait for those.

If you are able to take a midday break and return around 5pm you can hit lower wait times too. MMRR was at 10 minutes (actually around 6 minutes) at the very end of the day. We also rode SDD in 35 minutes with that strategy. (FWIW, out of all the rides, that is the line that felt the longest as it has more stationary stops for loading/unloading.)

Hello. We had a similar plan when we were there in March. On our first day we got boarding group 47 for RoTR so we had most of the morning to tackle the rides that we wanted. We have 3 boys (13, 11 & 3) and we wanted to do something for the 3 year old first so we rope dropped MMRR which was a walk on. We went directly to SDD and waited about 30 minutes, then went to TSMM which was about a 15 minute wait. Then we waited about 40 minutes for RnR before we headed over for our boarding group.

Our 2nd day we got boarding group 7, so we rope dropped Smuggler's Run then on to our Boarding group for RoTR. From there we went to RnR which was about a 30 minute wait.

You can easily do 2 of your highest priorities at rope drop with low wait times. Then prepare to wait in line for the things that are not as high on your list. You will be able to do the rides you want, but rope drop is key!

Hope this helps!
