Hollywood Studios Park Opening

It's been a while since I've gone to DHS at rope drop. We're wanting to go Thanksgiving day (yikes, I know). The park is set to open at 9. Does it open at 9 now or at 8:45? Also, is it expected to hit capacity what day? If so, around what time? If we can't go at 8:45, it might have to wait until around 3.

It could possibly open as early as 8:30 if there is a large crowd at the gates. It will more than likely be 8:45.
