My family and I are heading to Disneyland in next month. We are wanting to see the Hollywood sign, the Hollywood Wall of Fame, etc. Do you think it would be best to do a Hollywood Tour or drive there in rental car to check it out?

The Hollywood Sign and the Walk of Fame can be seen from the Hollywood & Highland center (site of the Dolby Theater where the Oscars were held). The Chinese Theater with the famous footprints is next door. Disney's El Capitan Theater and Soda Fountain are across the street. All that can be seen in a few hours (if you include time for lunch -- there are restaurants in the H&H center or you could eat at the Disney Soda Fountain). If you rent a car, that would give you the freedom and flexibility to see some other sites in the general area (e.g. Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Tar Pits (George Page Museum), the Grove & Farmer's Market (for shopping and fun food), Beverly Hills/Rodeo Drive (not too far away), etc.
