Hollywood/LA Tours

My family is going to Disneyland for the 1st time this December and my DH wants to take a tour of Hollywood/LA. I have not found a tour company that I liked, yet. We are staying at the DLH and we would appreciate any suggestions anybody might have.

We did the tour with VIP tours and it was fantastic the hollywood 1/2 day one from anaheim

I am going back and doing it again...

I have not used the following companies myself, but I have read reviews about them here at the DIS. Harold's Limo Service has a website, but as the reviewer said here, the website leaves a lot to be desired. Also try Tony the Limo King as I've seen before that he's great too. Although, I have heard mixed reviews, it seems that most of them (I'd say 90%) are of praise (they are mixed into threads about transportation so you'd have to do a search to find those reviews). Hope this is helpful information and not a repeat of what you've already discovered on your own!

If you don't mind my asking, what made it fantastic? Were there a lot of others on the tour with you? Did you feel rushed? Did they take you to see celebrity homes? TIA for any additional information you're able to offer!

We will be taking the morning tour on 10/10/10. We selected it because they have the 1/2 day tour. If you go the Anaheim Convention web site you can see all the details and prices.

We used Tony the Limo King for our transportation to and from LAX last week and it was great service. We wanted to take his tour, but ran out of time.

we did Vip tours also and it was great, but next time I will do the research and tour LA myself. Just because there are times you might want to stay somewhere longer and do your own thing. But with that said Vip tours was great.
