Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone could clarify this for me..I was looking at the menu on the official Disney site and it shows a Kobe steak on the main Entres at $74 but on another web site it shows a 5oz Kobe as an enhancement at $27 but no Kobe steak at $74...Has anyone dined here recently ?..

I can't answer your specific question about the Kobe, but we were there two weeks ago, and the menu they served us at dinner did not match what was online (at least at that time). I was greatly disappointed, not only because I was looking forward to a particular dish, but also in the food itself and it's one of my favorite restaurants. It just didn't taste as good as it did this past fall, and I'm not kidding, the piece of grouper I was served (at $48) was 2 inches square with some wilted greens and orzo. Hopefully they've updated the menu listed on the disney website to reflect what they're currently serving.

Wow!...Thanks for that...I was hoping to add another signature restaurant to our list, maybe decide on the Boathouse at DS....

Citricos, Flying Fish, California Grill, Sanaa, are all still quite good. It may just be that were were at the HBD on a very off night. I'm still sad about it.

Could have been an off night, we eat there every single trip and have never had a bad experience. They have changed the menu, the cobb salad is a little smaller and last time we were there they didn't mix it at the table, which was a little disappointing. We've never had the Kobe steak, I'm not a big steak fan but I would suggest if steak is what you are after, try one of the actual steak restaurants like the Yachtsman at Yacht Club. There is also a pretty decent one at the Dolphin.

There are two Cobb salads; the appetizer size which they do not mix, and the entree size which they mix at your table. The appetizer size is about half the price. Did you maybe order that one?

I know there was a lunch menu and a dinner menu. What was missing from yours? The fettuccine alfredo is only on the lunch menu. But there seems to be a trend to eliminate lunch and move to an all-day dinner menu.

Nope the dinner one. We may have just had an off day for the waiter.

Cheers...Already have the YS booked along with Jiko..Narcoossees ..CG..Artist Point..I'm thinking maybe trying The Boathouse..Last trip in 2014 we done YS for the first time..awesome steaks ...

We ordered both an entree salad and an appetizer salad and neither were mixed at the table. We, too, noted the servings were smaller, all around, and that the salad just didn't taste as good as the time before.

OP, those look like great choices--you'll have many great meals and memories! Artist Point has been one I've been eager to try.

We stayed at WL on our last trip in 2014 so we had to try AP..Very impressed..With 14 days of free DDP we tend to try and get as many signature restaurant experiences as possible as we are huge lovers of fine dining, something lacking in our wee town back home..
