Could someone tell me about the lunch here. The menus on this place aren't new informative. Do they have pizza for kids, is there some kind of carved beef? etc. Thanks

It's GROSS for dinner and I believe lunch is the same. I will never go back
The hot food was not hot, the cold food was not cold. The waitress was rude,; the place was dirty. Never again

Were you there the same two times we were? That was our exact experience both times we went. The only difference is half the time, there wasn't food in all of the stations...it took forever to replenish.

I may be one of the only people on the DIS to have a good experience at H&V.

It was different food, but everything was the correct temperature, nothing was empty, the service was great and the character interaction was the best of about 6 character meals we were at. To the point of me thinking, "Manny....June.....we have to eat our lunches!!!"

There was some chicken dish in a whitish sauce, Asiago cheese is ringing a bell, that my husband must have eaten 5 plates of. The dessert section is HUGE, and if I recall it's one of the only buffets to have a soft serve ice-cream machine.

There are no carved meats, or at least there wasn't any when we were there. The salads were great and fresh with a huge variety. I just thought this place was great!

We've been for lunch a few times and my kids love it. :confused3 the kids station had Mac n cheese, chicken nuggets, and steamed broccoli (it's been almost a year but that's what I remember - there may be additional choices). No carving station. Regular salads were good and there was a seafood pasta with a cream sauce that I liked. It's definitely chaotic and noisy but my kids love the characters. I though the food was decent and we never had the above mentioned problems with temperature or waiting for food. Maybe we were just lucky!
I've heard bad things about dinner but that hasn't been our experience at lunch.

We really enjoyed H&V as part of our dining package. The food was pretty good, thought not great. The carved meats were really good in my opinion as well as other things. Also, the dessert bar is excellent. I could have made a meal out of just that!!

We've been here a couple times for lunch and have always enjoyed it. Food is fine, nothing super special but not bad at all. The character experiences here have always been great! My kiddos love Disney Jr and we try to make it here each time we go.

I have to agree, that it was one of our best meals there last year. (We were there for lunch). I was skeptical, but the food was really good. I remember some hot pastas as well as really good turkey sandwiches. My husband and son loved the salmon. Dessert bar was great. Service was very attentive. The character experience was the best we have had! I would highly recommend it. I know in the past it really got poor reviews; but I think with the changing of characters (added Handy Manny etc.), and the improved food..Disney paid attention. Enjoy!
