Hollywood and Vine lunch?

Are there any "signature items" for lunch at Hollywood and vine?? Or is it just your basic Buffet fare?? Also how is the character interaction here???? And the deserts of course. Any food items that cant be missed?? Thanks!

I always like the fish option offered at H&V. Can't describe or name what I have eaten, but each trip the fish is very good.

I haven't had lunch there, but the fish dish is salmon and I believe it is served at lunch too. It was very tasty.

We made orange floats from the soft serve and orange sodas, yummy.

The character interaction there is really good. A host and 2 of the characters (the other 2 are on the other side of the restaurant) dance with the kids every 20 minutes or so. My kids loved it!!

We were wondering about the food for lunch, We had planned on dinner but nothing was available for the night, so we decided for a later lunch around 2pm but wondered how the lunch food is/?

I've been twice w/ my boys- Character interaction is really good (my kids LOVE little einsteins) and there are chances for the kids to get up and dance w/ the characters also. Food is pretty good. There's a variety so my kids were happy and I remember just being happy it was buffet cuz there were a few things that I loved and then there'd be things I just tolerated- so I take several trips back up. Deserts are yummy too! lots of choices

Our lunch experience was that the food was okay - nothing great but nothing terrible either - but the character interaction is great!

If you have young Playhouse Disney Fans this is a MUST DO! They play games and get the kids (and parents) up dancing every 15 minutes or so, it is a totaly blast!

Here is the buffet:

IMOP it is decent buffet food. There should be something for everyone. The buffet is much smaller than CM's, but then again, CM's isn't open for lunch regularly. If all else fails you on the buffet, they have a large assortment of sandwich fixings.

This is great. I can't wait. I have a custom June dress for my DD and a custom Leo outfit for my son. We are SOOOO ready for H & V
