Hollywood and Vine lunch question

I want to book a character lunch at H&V in June. Those who have BTDT, would you recommend the first seating for lunch, or the last? I am traveling alone with my 4 year old, and am hoping to cut down as much as possible on long waiting in line melt-downs.

We got there last week for an 11:40 adr and were seated at 11:45- no lines and it was overall pretty empty.

we have had reservations there at 1145 and 1210 - The 1210 we were seated right away. The earlier one, we had to wait about 15 min before we were seated.
