I have ideas for the 2" leters in my head...however I am blocked on the Disney Christmas items at the moment...they may have to wait until Post-MVMCP ;)

-Heidi, I am so sorry to read that you fell :( lots of P&PD for a speedy recovery!

Dacky-- I love, love, love this piece :) You may have convinced me to get the JOTS cart!

Wow wow wow! THat is beautiful dacky! I am sorry that I am not in that group.

I've made a start... and I'm sick of the sight of pumpkins and leaves:rotfl: I've got my papers pulled for the other two groups, and all my pumkins and leaves cut and inked, and the cardstock for that group cut too.:thumbsup2

Stamping on the agenda for tomorrow:goodvibes

I'm getting ready to cut "shapes" for the vintage Christmas group (if we stop losing power every 30 minutes :() what size do y'all generally cut the set of shapes at 2", 2 1/2", 3"? I'm thinking ornaments and wreath, maybe a package. Not sure about size though since squares are about 2". What do y'all think? TIA Cheryl :)

usually 2". They can be bigger. If they look better smaller than 2 inches, you'd probably need to make more than 3.

In the end -- you want to make sure it is a fair trade. For example: Are your 3 shapes the equivalent of 1 paper piecing?

Very nice Vicky!! That's how I got that cart, too! Great deal! And, I love Cuttin Up also!

Thanks! I also loooove Cuttin' Up! I don't use the monogram one as much as I thought I would...and I have yet to even open the Wildcard...but it was still worth the money!

That is beautiful! Sooooooo detailed!

thanks...I may add glitter to the bows on the presents...you can never have too much glitter.

Wow wow wow! THat is beautiful dacky! I am sorry that I am not in that group.

awww thank you!

ooohh but I am!!! great job!
:thumbsup2

I have 2 of my groups completed.

For Group D2 Halloween:

For Group E Costumes:

You probably can not see it, but for my embellisment I glittered the surface of the "E". I know your thinking

BORING!!!

BUT IT IS NOT JUST GLITTER.......

IT IS......

GLOW IN THE DARK GLITTER!

Here is my set (box & shapes) for Group S:

DSCN0126.jpg

I made the shapes at 2 1/2" the paper on the under layers of the ornaments is glitter paper, the red ornament is bazzill bling, the ornaments are stickled. Is 2 ornaments and the box enough or would y'all like 3 ornaments and the box? Let me know :)

wow, beautiful pieces posted, ladies!

And I LOVE the glow in the dark E...as well as the capital letters. I read it out loud and halloweeny. (did I just admit that? :rotfl:)

Cheryl - I love the box and shapes and think the two ornaments are enough!!

Shawn - The H is great!! The E...WOWZA!!! First of all...the font looks like bones...what font is that? Second...I liked it with the plain glitter...I LOVE IT with the glow in the dark glitter!!! Where did you find that?

yay, Shawn I get both your letters....the "E" is very cool!

Cheryl, your ornaments are very pretty!

Glow in the dark glitter :faint:  Whatever next? LOVE the work you're doing everyone:goodvibes

ETA got me thinking - I'm doing some stamped ornaments to embellish my vintage group, and was thinking about doing them on shimmer cardstock. But I wonder if doing them on parchment with added glitter would be more vintage (less blingy) Any views?
