Holidays at WDW

It has always been my dream to go to WDW during the holiday season. I love Disney and I love the Christmas season so it is only fitting that I experience "the world" during my favorite time of the year. So (if you read my other thread) I am planning a trip for this year and before I book I am just wondering, when do all the decorations actually go up? Will they be up the day and weekend after Thanksgiving? Thanks for your help!

Be in place by that time in parks and all over WDW it seems like it happens overnight after Thanksgiving.With all the special shows plus MVMCP,CP and Osborne Lights it is a special time to be at WDW.Have a safe and magical trip.

Try for the first week in Dec. if possible. We were there last year at that time and everything was decorated and the parks were not crowded at all. The thanksgiving crowd goes home by then.
