Holidays at Universal

I have just heard~~~NEVER, NEVER go to US/IOA without the FOTL. I am totally confused now.

We went Monday, Dec 11, 2006 and it was dead. Paying for the FOTL passes would've been a colossal waste of money. It was so dead, in fact, that I thought for a second I was Clark Griswold and the park was closed. On the walkway between the security check at the parking deck and Citywalk, we were ALONE. While I bought tix at the front gate to IOA, there was one other group that came up. I even had to go get my pic taken for my AP, and we still got to Hulk and rode 3x in a row with no wait. Then Spider-Man 2x with no wait.

I'm hoping Oct is just as good.

I wonder if it will be like that on a Thursday/Friday on the 20th & 21st, with it being soooo close to Christmas:confused: :confused3

I did check touring plans and it shows that those 2 days are both a 4 on a scale of 1-10 for busy conditions at Disney. That would be great if it was that good at Universal.

Anyone else been to US/IOA on the Thursday/Friday before Christmas week?
