Disneyland just released the dates for Christmas this year and everything coming up.

They are killing me with the Storytellers meals now, and really juicing it now, different characters for breakfast and dinner!

The new Storyteller character dinner looks great, however I wonder if they will be raising the price on it and I noticed for the Halloween dinner they have raised the prices for it, so I imagine Christmas will follow suit. These meals are really getting expensive now! Plus I never realised Goofys Kitchen auto grats everyone!

And the new Christmas outfits for Disneyland with the 70th flair look great. Wonder if they will come out with a similar three day pass deal they had for Disney+ last year!

We use to go to these two buffets multiple times per year. Since 2019, dinner prices have doubled so we don’t go nearly as often (it’s been 18 months since we lasted visited either).

Every buffet at DLR and WDW added 15% (or 18% for larger parties) gratuity ever since I can remember. It’s only been in the last few years since they stopped this practice - mainly because the servers want more than 15% :).

If GK is charging auto gratuities, they must’ve started back up.

I know, Storytellers looks really great, just wish they would tell me if Fantasmic will be shown on weekdays the first 2 weeks of December. Really want my nieces to see it!

Am I correct in assuming the character meals won't stay Christmas themed until the very end? I'm thinking most of that ends on Christmas Day. I'd love to do the Christmas Carol meal, but we aren't arriving until the last couple of days of the holiday season in January.

Select entertainment from the 70thCelebration will continue during the holiday season, so you’ll still be able to enjoy the “World of Color Happiness!” nighttime spectacular and “Tapestry of Happiness” projections. “Paint the Night” parade and other entertainment experiences will pause temporarily during the holiday season and resume at a later date.

Looking at my reservation from last years PJ breakfast, it ran til after Christmas -
Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party Breakfast and Brunch
From November 19, 2024, through January 1, 2025, join Mickey and his best pals at the pajama party of the season! ”

Bummer. I won’t get to do it then if they do the same this year. I really wish they would do it to the end of the season.

Probably collectively the steepest price hikes we’ve ever seen. Will be interesting to see if they hike ticket prices this fall. WDW is offering gift cards with purchase of an annual pass, which is a de facto discount. Speculation is that DLR’s MK will increase $50 to $150 each…
was curious as our MK renewals in Nov and usually we get an october increase… also wondering what ill do when our 2yr old turns 3 in april 2026… thats why i usually do character dining right now since hes still been a free ticket and meal 😂

We are planning a December trip, and I'm hoping that the Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus returns to the Hearthstone. Give us a fancy tea, as I never got to enjoy the one at Steakhouse 55!

We've been saving up for 1.5 years for this trip, as it will include staying at the fancy GCH. I'm a sucker for any Christmas event.

I noticed the price increase for the Halloween dinner at the beginning of July when I booked Goofys.
Yeah, the second paragraph said that price increases normally come in July & October.

Disney typically raises prices twice a year, once in July, and once in October. Typically the quick service prices go up first in July and then the table service comes later in October. Fans are typically shocked at the price increases, but they're expected!

Wow. Are they succeeding in making DL a tourist destination that well that they can justify these price hikes? I guess the demand at DL has remained high as evidenced by the pausing of MK sales every now and then, which hasn't happened with WDW APs

We will be there in November and this is what excited me the most!!!
I’m a sucker for Christmas events too!

We are planning a trip but the day we fly in was going to be an out of park/Disney downtown day. The storyteller dinner is going to make an amazing first night to get us in the mood to rope drop.

I don't know why I care so much for storyteller but it's been a highlight for every visit.
