Does anyone have any information for Holidays around the world. I was wondering if it is somthing the family should not miss.

It is very interesting. Each country has their version of Santa or some kind of Christmas tradition. They come out and tell a story related to their country.

The Candlelight Procession is also a "don't miss".

Some of the Holiday Storytellers were pretty interesting, some not so. If you go in December, don't miss the tree lighting ceremony in Epcot. And I agree about the Candlelight Processional-outstanding-not to be missed!

I'd also recommend the Candelight Processional Package. It is just like the Fantasmic Package and we loved it!

The World Showcase Players also do a funny bit on the Christmas Carol and my DD's loved seeing all the different Santa's. Seeing WS decorated for Christmas was just fabulous.

We're planning on going back to WDW in December because it was wonderful!

Holidays Around the World varies from country to country, but all of the presentations will teach you a little something about how people around the world celebrate Christmas. The best thing about them, is that most presentations are about 15 min long, so you're not eating up a big chunk of time to see them, and they're really just nice little "buttons" to add to an Epcot visit.

Each pavilion has their version of Santa (Pere Noel, Father Christmas, etc) or some other holiday "character" (the Three Kings in Mexico, Monkey King in China, etc) who tells the story of that country and how they celebrate the winter holidays. After the presentation, you can ask questions, get autographs or have your picture taken with the presenters.

I don't know that it's something to put on the "gotta see it at all costs" list, but it's something you should see if you can. It's especially good for kids who have to bring back something educational from their December vacation.

Where do the World Showcase Players usually perform? Is it in the UK?

There's a troupe of World Showcase Players in UK and one in Italy.

We werent able to catch them all, but I highly recommend making a point to see La Bouffana(sp?) in Italy. She was hysterical...quite the character.
