Holiday - You call the Shots......

I thought it was pretty good too - but it seemed a bit rushed. IMO a One hour slot would have been better.

I too wish they had shown a bit more of Citywalk or Downtown Disney.

Was anybody mentioned?!

Richard. :)

I think they should have shown more to do in the evening's I emailed them about Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk but they didn't feature that :(

Good show but I agree they obviously didn't do any research or they would have known that Church St Station etc is very run down compared to say ten years ago and alot of places have closed or are in the process of closing.
Yes I did see Simon and guessed it was Carolyn's son as soon as I saw him, the name badge gave it away with his home town.
Also the lady who has been there 40 times!!! Is that a record??
Seeing the show makes me want to go back as soon as possible!!
Claire ;)

Oh, that Simon! Yes, of course I saw him, having met him last October. I guess it doesn't help having two "our Simon's" on this board! Holiday programme on Orlando. Simon. I automatically assume Simon Veness.

I also 'knew' the other UK lad which they showed just before Simon. We were waiting for rope-drop at the bridge between UK and France at Epcot on our first day and we had quite a long conversation with him and the security guard whilst we waited. I can't remember his name (Peter?), or even where he's from (up north somewhere), but he's got 2 months of his stint left and, of course, I asked him all about Simon.

His name is Jonathan and he is a very nice lad indeed. Simon and Jonathan both had photos afterwards with Trevor Nelson and he was as pleased as punch to be on TV. I guess they both felt a bit like their five seconds of fame in their case had arrived LOL! Incidentally it really was a complete shock to Simon. The whole family had been sworn to secrecy by the Beeb. Carolyn:jester: :jester: :jester:

Can't believe I missed him - I was in the kitchen for once  But I heard all about it and I can just imagine the colour he went - priceless, so glad you all kept the secret :)
