Holiday with Disney! 2011

Please, Please, PLEASE. If I cancel this trip, someone has the authority to PINCH me.


I have been meaning to take a solo trip to honor my mom & to give myself time to appreciate my own life. Since my mother's passing on February 20th, I have been non stop. I moved, got a new job, taken care of everything. I just need a break. And it upsets me that I had a vacation planned at the end of this month but canceled right at the 45 days because I felt I didn't deserve it.


anyway, please give me bits of encouragement to NOT cancel this trip. I am going November 27-December 1st at POP w/ Deluxe dining

I am sorry that you have experienced such grief this year. I can only imagine the depth of the pain of losing your mom. It sounds to me like your mom would be thrilled for you to go to Disney and enjoy it. From looking at your list of trips you took with her, she obviously loved it as much as you do. I think it would be the highest honor for you to do something for yourself as I think that is what your mom would want you to do. My guess is that she will be sitting right beside you on the rides, smiling with you as you walk down Main St and flying right beside Tink as she makes her little trip down to Main St! Perhaps you canceled that trip for the summer bc there is something so magical at Christmas! Go and enjoy...sounds like there is no one who deserves it more!

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom! Please don't cancel your trip - you deserve to go and give yourself a break!! I think Disneyworld is the best place to go and sounds like your mom would want you to go too. Have a great trip and don't cancel!!
