Holiday Trip Halloween or Christmas

We had our first Disney vacation this year in mid September. Despite the humidity, it was uncrowded which was worth it. Next year we would like to try going in early October for Fall/Halloween or the first week in December for the decorations. Because we have 2 toddlers and crowd level is important to us. Any insight would be helpful..and thanks in advance!

Last year we went the first week in December and it was great! Crowds were't bad, the weather was good and the decorations are awesome!!
This year I went from Sept. 30th till Oct. 3rd and again it was not crowded and the weather was very warm. The kids all dressed in Halloween costumes is so cute!! Actually, there were entire families in costumes.
