Today was sad in that it was our last day for this trip, but we made the most of it by booking the latest flight possible and having a driver pick us up instead of ME. I was up early again and decided to take advantage of the bright sun and morning fog around SSR. I walked around the grounds and took some pictures, I even managed to get some good pictures of the construction and the new pool area. I will post them later in the week when I have some time to figure out how to do it. After DW awoke, we started the morning with a breakfast platters on the balcony in our SSR room as we overlooked DTD waterway. We then packed up and took all our extras (bottled water, laundry detergent, bottled sodas) and left them in the laundry room by the quiet pool in Congress Park, with a note saying that Mickey wanted someone to enjoy these. We then decided on one last grand Monorail ride, so we went to Epcot just to take the Monorail over to TTC and then switched onto the Resort Monorail to take it all in as we headed to the MK. It was a great ride, from Epcot to TTC we had our own car, it was like our own private Monorail. Once at MK we caught part of the Parade with Santa at the end, as we made our way over to the High School Musical Pep Rally. DW loved it, I also thought it was cute, by the next time we go down I've heard that it will be at MGM. We decided to roam around the shops for a while just "browsing" which turns into shipping things home from the gift shops so we can look at them some more from the comfort of our home, because everyone knows how hard it is to pass up that t-shirt, sweatshirt, collectible on the last day of your trip knowing that it may be the last time you have a chance to buy that "must have" item. We timed our exit from the shops so that we could get a prime location for the Share a Dream with Mickey Show, on the castle stage. It was another cute show, and DW loved it, she said that it was AWESOME and far surpassed Cinderellabration, and that's big for her because she still believes she IS one of the Princesses. We managed to catch lunch at Pirata y Perico, which we love. We were disappointed in no more Taco Salads though, although with the fact that it is seldom open, we just enjoyed the tacos as a welcome change to the usual afternoon foods. As we left Pirata we caught the Cap't Jack show outside PoTC, he had studied Johnny Depp's manuerisms very well, his performance was great. As we stolled out of MK for the last time this trip we waked past the Town Mayor and General and returned their greetings of Goodday, we passed them just as they we strolling into Adventureland. We took the bus to SSR and took a nice peaceful walk around the waterway to DTD, where we "browsed" some more, not that I minded at all, I got a polo that I had seen earlier in the week and had stuck in my head. After our "browsing" was complete we took the boat back over to SSR for a scenic view of DTD and SSR. We decided to close out our stay in what has become our traditional fashion. We went and sat by the pool (sometimes it's the beach depending on the resort) and had a few drinks and just relaxed soaking up the warm and Disney atmosphere as much as we could before heading back to reality. Our driver picked us up at 6:30pm, our plane had a slight delay, but nothing like the trip down, the flight home was smooth and transitioned us back into the reality that was waiting for us as work was only a few days away. In order to offset that we started our next countdown, currently 146 days. TTFN
