Holiday tipping?

I have been going to the same hairdresser for years and I usually tip her the full amount of a haircut (instead of my usual 20%) as a Christmas bonus.

I have been going to Massage Envy this year and have been using mostly the same Massage Therapist each time. Is it expected that I tip him the full amount of a massage?

I wouldn't and I'm no cheapskate. I tip well each time I get my hair, nails or massage done so I don't tip extra at the holiday. Tipping is out of hand.

I agree. I don't feel the need to tip anyone extra just because it is close to Christmas. I would never tip the full price of a massage. Way to much IMO.

+1. I go to Massage Envy too. Problem is that there is so much turnover at my location I don't end up with the same massage therapist at the end of the year that I started with. Just tip accordingly after every session.

Thanks for the responses. Tipping a full amount of a massage seemed pretty expensive for me too. Thanks for the confirmations.
