These sort of programmes are not there to show the good side of either the holidays or the people.
They deliberatly find the most incompatable families so they can have showdows and feed todays society with so-called "entertainment"
You had two families, both very similar with head of the families who ruled, one a wannabe Officer (never made it in either the Army or the Fire brigade, AAC! poor mans RAF) who could only "rule" his household. The telling comment was "I wanted to go to the fire station, tough on the children" and followed up by "Should we have this discussion in front of the children"
and
A Chavvy family with more disposable income than sense, (Decking, hot tub and conservatory) with a head who expected the little wife to run around after him.
The pair of them swearing in front of the children just about summed them up.
Neither was going to be happy, which is exactly what the producers wanted.
Are you telling me the only food available in WDW is Hot dogs? of course not, A whole day from 6am without any food whatsoever? Ridiculous.
As for the love affair, this was never going to work, one because of the distance (too far without a car) and two, the parents would have put a lot of pressure on the two of them, not worth the hassle to a boy with raging hormones.
Spot on post. Don't know if it was just myself who thought this, but for a Disney "Veteran" he did seem to get a little over excited with the villa. I'm wondering if they had ever been before.
