*Holiday Shopping Thread 2013*

Im still not having any luck. Ive only got 4 weeks left to shop
Although as I havent lost as much weight as i'd hoped, I think I may have enough clothes. Could do with some new crops/shorts though.

I don't have those problems this year, at least not until later this year. For our May holiday I am more likely to need winter clothes as we are off to Alaska.

I'm just back from a lovely weekend in Milton Keynes with hubby and he treated me to a couple of dresses from Debenhams for our cruise

This Coast one

and this Julian McDonald one

I just need a pair of shorts, some cropped jeans, a couple of tops (which I may wait to buy when I'm there), and maybe a pair of sandals

We were in Milton Keynes this weekend too unfortunately all I got treated to was a coffee.

Lovely dresses though, I love the bits from coast - so flattering.

I got me some clothes today for spring/summer, as I've lost over 4 stone since August so i was in need of some clothes that would fit for the nicer weather, I still aim to loose another 1 stone 6 pounds before my holiday to WDW in August! Fingers crossed I loose that in the next few months then I can go holiday clothes shopping eeeeek! Exciting stuff!

Wow well done on your weight loss!! I'm so glad you could find some nice holiday clothing, it's a bit hit and miss up here with the new season clothing in shops at the moment . Good luck for the next few months with your weight loss goal.

Thanks! It certainly is amazing! feels good! Got a way to go yet though! And thanks I have pretty good will power At the moment so I should loose it fairly quickly, or at least I hope I do! To be honest there really wasn't as much as I hoped clothes wise, but I got a dress and 4 pairs of shorts so its a start!

and I recently bought these sandals from New Look too

I'm still on the look out for some denim shorts, but they all seem to be short shorts around these days (and the world isn't ready for me in them )

I went today as a bit of last minute shopping as I realised I had no shorts...! Went to Dorothy Perkins and got a pair of these (though they are not "lavender" in any way, more if a light beige They also came up HUGE - as does apparently everything in Dorothy Perkins I tried on? I bought 2 sizes below my usual

I also got a bikini from Primark - not somewhere I usually shop but happened to pop in. It's nothing special but it has a cute, bright print so I'm happy.

Well we went shopping today for our trip on the 9th April and I spent £120 on clothes for DD (3 pairs shorts from next 1 from m&s) 4 tops pants socks and 2 books. DB got a pair of denim 3/4 shorts sports socks and boxers and I got knickers and talc lol!!! I have lost 10lb in 2 weeks and tbh bought clothes to go last year but never got chance to wear them so Apart from some new crocs and some fashion jewellery I dont need anything. I do intend to buy stuff there though.

That is a bargain Mandy! I can't do maxi dresses (too short for regular maxi dresses, too tall for the petite section's maxi dresses..! Awkwardly sized! ) so am jealous.

We had to go shopping again today as my partner realised his shorts don't fit He has also decided that everything he wants to take needs washing before we go... Guess who has that pleasure?!?

I have packed today, too!

Oh and I happened to be in Tesco earlier for food and saw that they had LOADS of swimwear on sale. Would have got some but the sizes were all mismatched so couldn't find a top and bottom to fit. It was stupidly cheap!

One day I will learn to upload pics from my ipad i have bought some black crocs; a white kaftan with dim-antes around the collar. A nice white crochet top with a vest sewn in and some 3/4 pale denim shorts form debenhams. Oh and most important a red minnie mouse shower cap!!
