UHG...There were a few that did that on the AOL MIL Spouse board too. Calling CO's, reporting OPSEC "violations", sending printed copies of posts to FRG's. Some of those people were crazy!

The drama is insane. I stay far away from it. They never show things like that on "Army Wives"!

I must just be cold hearted, because I never recognize these threads, even when people are posting about them. Probably because it would never in a million years occur to me to send money/gifts to someone I only know through a message board like this.

(I participate in another online community, but many of us have met in real life or can vouch for each other, and we do things for each other all the time. But it's a small closed community.)

I still have no idea what posts anyone is referring to.

You'll find them on both, but it's more common on the community board.

Your problem is if you are really looking for deals, you shouldn't skim, because as you say, you will miss the deal you need. It would be wiser to use the search engine, typing in the item you want to save money on, and you will be amazed at the deals you can find.
