God, this week is getting to be laughable! JUST got e-mail that I have to chaperone the band at the football game tomorrow night, starting at 6pm. First time ever. Could I get a bit more than 20 hours notice please???? Just not the week for this.

mommytotwo--I hope you enjoy the recipes! The Apple Struedel is one of my absolute favorites!
I'm sorry that a plate got broken (it was just one, right?). I tried to wrap them carefully and pack them securely, but I guess it wasn't enough.

I took my package to the post office today and it should arrive at its northern destination hopefully by Saturday. A short while later, the mailman delivered a nice package to me from Corey (Gymbomom)! Thanks Corey for the nifty recipe card package. I'm looking forward to trying some of the recipes. BTW, what are chicken taquitos? I don't think I have seen that type of item at our grocery stores here in NC.

My package also included measuring cups/spoons (can never have enough of those!), candy, a package of sugar cookie mix, and a Creative Memories pen. My kids love the ghoulish bubble gum! We are going out of town this weekend or I would be trying some of the recipes tomorrow. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness!

Yes, just one plate was broken.
The post office doesn't always handle things lightly even though it says fragile, so I was surprised that those other three had made it safely.

I checked the DC on my exchange package that I mailed this past Monday. It still is only showing that it was accepted at my post office Monday. ?? Surely it's not still there. If it is, sorry exchange buddy!

She is out of town until the 24th....maybe they are holding it at her PO...and no one has scanned it
That happens way too much. DC doesn't do much good if the people aren't soing the scanning!!

Today is mail by date!! Please get your packages out today (unless you have told me otherwise).
I will be sending reminders to the 8 people that still have not checked in. I will try to get that done this morning before I leave...otherwise it will be tonight.

We should be seeing a LOT of arrivals soon.
