Holiday Quest at the Parks

Quest answers are in the Guide I postedthem last night and just checked over on the fansite and our answer differ from theirs for WDW.

Funny that it says that the quests are valid from December 8, 2005. We were there from 8-11th, saw the cards, asked about it but everyone told us they were not out yet. Go figure.

We will be back in a week to do the Holiday Quests, can't wait.

Thanks for posting the answers, Mal - I appreciate it! We are going to be at WDW next week and my DS is dying to do the quests.

Anyone that has done the holiday quest at WDW - can you please check Mal's answers and confirm (she mentioned the other site having different answers) - it would be appreciated

I did the quest and provided the answers to Mal. The ones she has are what I received when I did the quest on Monday. It would be interesting to see what answers others come up with because there are definite discrepancies between the questions and what it's possible to actually answer. Even the CM's were confused.

Have a great trip tho This quest was rather fun to do.

Aeryn- hi thanks again for the answers I gave you credit in the reason for edit will give you a more permanent credit place later but have been online all morning and now I need to do some real life stuff

Sooooo...which answers are correct? Are you sure that the ones you posted are the right ones?

I'm specifically concerned about question #3. The "official key" says it is Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious? How can that be spelled with the letters mentioned, and what is this "official key"? Aeryn, what did you answer for this?

Also for #7: you said

Baseball mitt, bat, ball is not one of the choices. did you mean to say Baseball HAT?

1) I have the Quest in front of me now. The choices for #7 for the WDW quest are as follows:

Baseball mitt, ball, player
Baseball, bat, player
Baseball mitt, bat, player
Baseball hat, bat, ball
Baseball hat, mitt, ball

We (meaning those I was with) took pictures of each as we answered them (I don't have the pics, my friends are still at WDW.) We answered: Baseball, bat, player because we took a photo of it. The answer on the "official answer key" that VMK had was: Baseball mitt, bat, player.

Yes, the "official answer key" which is what the VMK CMs use to verify answers to the quests, gave an answer of 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' which is *clearly* NOT possible with the blocks that are there. The answers I gave were "Bat" & "Teddy" because it says "words". You can only spell Teddy if you use the single D twice.

Anyway, yes, we got them all correct since we could explain our answers

As with *everything* Disney, your mileage may vary from castmember to castmember.

You know, that's a very good question, Tink. I just don't know. If I were to do the quest again, I'd probably answer it in the exact same way I already did.

If I had a better answer for you, I'd give it. I'm definitely interested to hear what experiences others have with answers for this quest.

Thanks. On Mal's post it said the answer was "Baseball mitt, bat, ball" which was why I was confused. I guess she meant to type "player" and said "ball" instead.....? Thanks Aeryn, we are gonna use your answers and hope they get us the prizes!

...RobRichmond, I turn to you.

I don't know who RobRichmond is , but I did do the quest today and got the prizes. I missed two answers, but they gave me all the cards anyway.

#1 - Is correct in the guide. I chose "Gingerbread presents" because of the gingerbread ornaments on the tree. They gave me it anyway.
#2 - Is correct in the guide and obvious if you look at the gingerbread ornaments on the tree.
#3 - I said "Bat" and the current official answer sheet has that and "Teddy" now.
#4 and #5 - These are correct in the guide.
#6 - This should be "Snow Bear" and is wrong in the guide. The snowman on the stage with the band is actually a snow bear. This is seen more clearly on one of the backdrops that comes up during the show.
#7 - I chose "Baseball mitt, bat, player" and that is what the official answer sheet now has. I did not see a ball in the garland, just on the part of the building it was hanging on.
#8 - Is correct in the guide.
#9 - Is correct in the guide. This is the second one I missed, because the Caurosel Of Progress was down when I was there and the castmember at the entrance thought it was "2073".
