Holiday Minimum Expenditures

Hello everyone. I am hoping someone can help me out with a question that we appear to not be getting a clear answer on from our Wedding Consultant.

We are looking to book our wedding oerv Veterans Day weekend. We initially wanted the Sunday. We breifly asked about the Monday whenfirst speaking with our consultant, she said this would be a normal Monday and that the minimum expenditure for a Wishes Wedding would be $12k.

After speaking with her yesterday, seeing as we may need to move it to the actual Monday of Veterans Day, she said that it would be considered a holiday and thus have the higher minimum. This has left us a little confused.

Ontop of this, I called DFTW today just to ask someone else. The woman said she was 90% sure that Veterans Day would be a normal Monday and that the Holiday minimum were for only the major holidays.

Has anyone heard anything about this or even had past experience booking in this time frame?

To add to this, does anyone know of a way to contact another DFTW wedding consultant to get an answer. Our consultant has been very nice and quick to answer, so I would feel bad going behind her back to get a straight answer but it is kind of a big deal that we would base our planning off of

I'm looking into a 10 am ceremony for Columbus Day weekend and was told the minimum would be 15k instead of the normal 12k, for either the Sunday before and actual Columbus Day.

Thanks for the response. We were hoping for the 12k so we could justify a dessert party the night before. It seems we will now need to figure out a way to do it the night of the actual wedding now.
