Holiday Inn Maine Gate

I just booked the Holiday Inn Maingate East with a kidsuite for Nov. 30 through Dec. 3. Has anyone ever stayed there and if so, any reviews would be great. It looks decent and the the price was right. ( I am still hoping for the SOG/Cont. we are on a waiting list). Also wondering how the resturant and the so called food court are??? Any info would be great.

We stayed there 3 years ago. I didn't have the kidsuite, just regular room. I didn't really care for it. The kids, however, were blissfully happy because the heated pools were open all the time and they enjoyed swimming in Nov. until late at night. The food court at the time had Little Caesars and a few other offerings. Not much to choose from, but inexpensive because the kids were free at that time. The kids also got a "goodie bag" at check in. If you plan on using their transportation make sure you study the time table well. They only pick up and return at certain times. I don't want to sound discouraging. We were only in the room for short periods of time and again, my children really enjoyed it. I've just become spoiled to on site. I hope you have a wonderful trip. Keep hoping SOG/CR opens up for you.
