Holiday Inn Gatwick

Has anyone stayed here and I wondered what the transport was like to/from for the airport - or would you suggest a taxi?

Is the the hotel by the big roundabout that is square? If so I know people that stayed here recommended a taxi (very cheap) as the roads were not set up to be crossed by pedestrians.

I may have totally the wrong hotel here though so hopefully someone who has stayed here will be able to help

Ive stayed here a few times- the place is nice- looks shabby on the outside (its an old post house) but the place had a refit 3 or 4 years ago and is quite smart inside. There is a shuttle bus to the airport think its £3 each was and runs every 20 mins or so, if there is a few of you a taxi may be cheaper.

You can normally get a good deal with parking included at the hotel- If the price is good id recommend this place anyday.
