Holiday Inn Express

Does anyone know how this hotel is and is it walking distance? I have a reservation at HoJos in July but am considering changing it because of the pool construction. I can get the same rate at the HI and it includes buffet breakfast.

We stayed this hotel over Labor Day weekend last year. It was just ok. Very, very small pool. The first room we were assigned was pretty bad. Nothing worked, lamps broken, drawers kept opening. Tried to call the front desk, but the phone was broken too. They were very good about transferring us to a better, upgraded room for the weekend and we were happy with that room. It's about a 15 minute walk, so definitely walkable. For this years Labor Day we decided to stay somewhere else. We were looking at either HoJo's or the Camelot Inn & Suites which were about the same price for this years trip. So I guess my point is, it was ok, but not ok enough to stay there again! Best thing was probably the cinnamon rolls at their free breakfast each morning!

There's still a good pool to use at HoJos even though the kid's pool is under construction. It's closer than HI and from what I have read on trip advisor, it's nicer. I'd stick with HoJos.
